The Girl stopped by the other day and with both of us being HUGE fans of the Sherlock series {PBS Masterpiece version} we just had to watch Netflix’s new movie about Sherlock and Mycroft’s younger sister Enola.
And HOLY CANOLIES people… is was a 10 out of a 10!
British, clever, witty, fast paced, action packed, with wonderful cinematography, beautiful costumes and a movie I would feel good about putting on the tele for family movie night if I had younger {tween+} kids still at home. And better yet, the movie was based on the Enola Holmes mystery books by author Nancy Springer. So if your family enjoys the movie as much as I think they will, the series of mystery books might come in handy if your looking for something for your kids to read as well.
Basically, we LOVED this movie!! And I hope you will too.
Let me know what you think if you decide to watch it–or if you have already seen it.
Peace out Girl Scouts & have yourself a great weekend,
~Mavis

We cancelled our Netflix account a few months ago. I wonder if it will be shown on Prime? Or, maybe available at the library? I’ll check that out.
Katie says
It’s a “Netflix Original” so I doubt it will be available elsewhere :/ My parents have graciously allowed us to share their Netflix for years, but they just cancelled. I’m hoping to watch this movie and as much of the Great British Bake Off as I can before their membership runs out.
