I watched Enough Said awhile back on the recommendation of a friend, and you know what? It was actually pretty darn good. It is about two divorcees trying to navigate the world of dating and love, all while raising teenage daughters. It is painfully and truthfully awkward–in a well-done sort of way. So, since I probably won’t have time to sit down and watch something new tonight, I thought I would throw this one out as a recommendation for you peeps instead.
Let me know what you think if you decide to watch it–or if you have already seen it. Did you love it? Hate it?
Peace out Girl Scouts & have yourself a great weekend,
~Mavis

Absolutely loved this film! I’m a fan of Nicole Holofcener in general, but this one really touched me. Beautiful example of how we can be swayed from something perfect by the opinion of others. I’d also recommend Friends With Money, by the same filmmaker.

I like Nicole Holofcener’s movies, too. It was heartbreaking watching this movie, however, knowing that it was one of James Gandolfini’s last movies, especially when he plays such a sweet (and more like his real persona, apparently) character.

Saw it. Also really liked it. Far more than I thought I would.
