Tonight, I am going to watch Fresh. It’s another food documentary that looks at our food production methods. It also shows farmers and businesses that are trying to make changes that would have a positive impact. I don’t know about you, but I can’t get enough of these. It always invigorates my gardening goals.
If you decide to watch it, let me know what you think.
Amazon Prime Members can watch Fresh for free.
Let me know what you think if you decide to watch it–or if you have already seen it. Did you love it? Hate it? Can’t wait to watch it over and over?

I really enjoyed it! It makes me want to move to a small farm and have chickens, pigs and cows (and never eat them from corporate grown farms)!!!! I have my own little garden planted. When I see a seed popping through the soil it makes me smile!!

The contrast between the Foxes and Joel Salatin, the tilapia/produce guy and the pig farmer is striking. The difference is the latter three are part of a closed loop that doesn’t need chemical inputs and they are vibrant people in this system – or because of it?
I wonder if the Foxes feed also includes the arsenic or whatever growth promoting poison is the new industry standard.
I know my animals now too. No beakless chickens for me, which sadly crosses Zaycon off the list. (Sorry. Looked into it a few years ago but it’s factory meat.) No tailless pigs. No grain eating herbivores. Ask any kid what cows eat – they all say grass. Kids are smart!
Kudos to your garden!!
