Guess who found a new series? Did you guess me?! Did you? Did you? Home Fires is about the women left to manage the country and their homes after their husbands and sons go off to fight in World War II.
I love me a good British drama, and I am totally drawn to the stories of everyday women. Add it to your to-do list, it’s fantastic.
Let me know what you think if you decide to watch it–or if you have already seen it.
Peace out Girl Scouts & have yourself a great weekend,
~Mavis

If you love historical British dramas you must watch Foyle’s War. It is so well done and very addictive (and available on Netflix).
