I love this movie. Oh Brother Where Art Thou is the craziest show and makes me laugh every time. Plus, Clooney! It’s the story of three convicts who escape from a chain gang and set out to retrieve a supposed treasure Everett buried before the area was flooded to make a lake. It is just one misadventure after another and I love it. The music is awesome, too!
This one is also available for free on Netflix!
Let me know what you think if you decide to watch it–or if you have already seen it.
Peace out Girl Scouts & have yourself a great weekend,

I liked the premise behind the movie, the acting was good as was the music, but the constant cursing made me cringe and otherwise not ready to watch it again or recommend it to others….

Mavis, this is one of our all time favorite movies. Plus, the music is awesome, to us. We like it so much we have the DVD. We are looking for Appocolipto now. It is a good one, too. It does have subtitles though.
Happy New Year to you and your family! Looking forward to the peas, cabbage, and cornbread tomorrow. Plus may add some ham, too.

As a Southerner, this movie IS AWESOME!!! If you aren’t from the South, some of the humor will be lost on you…and if you are from the South, it isn’t humor just real life! HA! Love it!
My Great Uncle Bob talked slower than the man in the store where George Clooney was trying to buy Dapper Dan pomade.

T Boone Pickins put together the music. He won lots of awards for the music.
