Another oldie but a goodie… Terms of Endearment is available on Amazon Prime right now. It’s hard to believe this movie was made 35 years ago but those classics, sure hold up. The complex mother/daughter relationship is just so real and raw you can’t help but love both Debra Winger and Shirley Maclaine’s characters.
Let me know what you think if you decide to watch it–or if you have already seen it.
Peace out Girl Scouts & have yourself a great weekend,
~Mavis

Great movie when I saw it all those years ago but I find I can’t watch those tear-jerkers anymore (likewise with Steel Magnolias)…having lost my dad 20years ago, my mom 3years ago, young friends and friends young children…real life is sad enough I can’t watch Hollywood versions anymore. Shirley McClain was fantastic though! She was great also in a more recent movie that I enjoyed “Carolina”, fun and quirky movie and the tear-jerker element is not as gut wrenching as Terms of Endearment.
