I stumbled up upon The Durrells in Corfu Season 1 around this time last year and ABSOLUTELY fell in love with the show. “Based on naturalist Gerald Durrell’s much-loved trilogy of novels, The Durrells in Corfu sees impoverished but sparky widow Louisa Durrell make the radical decision to leave 1930s England to seek out a new destiny for her family.”
Well lucy for us The Durrells in Corfu Season 2 is out and both 6 episode seasons are currently available with Amazon Prime and you can bet I’m going to plow right through season two this weekend while I work on my rugs. 🙂
Let me know what you think if you decide to watch it–or if you have already seen it.
Peace out Girl Scouts & have yourself a great weekend,
~Mavis

Love this series!

Boy am I glad there are a variety of movies/shows produced because tastes differ so much. I absolutely loathed this series, which I could hardly believe since I am a Masterpiece junkie. I found the characters boring and tedious and too caricatured to be beliveable.

My sentiments exactly! I couldn’t finish the series.

someone turned me on to that show, and I enjoy it! I’m just an episode into season 2, I think. It’s hard for me to watch, not much time for TV with the kids!

Love the show. It is so funny!
I would like to visit Corfu someday. Great Britain’s Prince Philip is from Corfu.

We watched it on Sunday Nights on PBS and enjoyed it. Since Sat. I started watching all 4 seasons of Turn with DH. He had watched before but I couldn’t get into it until this week. We are now in Season 3. Did you watch at 4 seasons last Friday? How close are they to your property?
Rebecca in MD says
