Tonight I’m going to settle in with my rug hooking on the couch and start the PBS miniseries The Crimson Field.
“In a tented field hospital on the coast of France, a team of doctors, nurses, and volunteers work together to heal the bodies and souls of men wounded in the trenches of WWI. The hospital is a frontier: between the battlefield and home front but also between the old rules, hierarchies, class distinctions, and a new way of thinking.”
I don’t know how I missed this before but right now it’s included with your Amazon Prime membership if you have one.
Have you seen this yet? Let me know what you thought of the series or if you have already seen it and you have Amazon Prime, pop on over HERE to watch.
Peace out Girl Scouts & have yourself a great weekend,
~Mavis

I think I will join you! I like these types of shows. I just finished watching Homefires. It was good but only 2 seasons.

Loved Home Fires, too. Was so sad when they didn’t renew it.

Be forewarned… You might get addicted, but Crimson Field was unexpectedly cancelled after the first season, so at the end there are plenty of loose story line threads and NO SEASON 2! 🙁

I love The Crimson Field. If you like it too, you might like ANZAC GIRLS. Austrailian nurses in WWI.
