I was patiently {ahem, IMPATIENTLY} waiting for the second season of the mini series, The Crown, to be released on Netflix. I binge-watched the first season and absolutely LOVED it. If you haven’t seen it, it’s about the young Queen Elizabeth and introduces her before her ascension to the throne in 1952 and then follows her until 1955. The show is exclusive to Netflix so BE SURE AND PUT IT ON YOUR MUST WATCH LIST if you have Netflix. It is so so good. The actors are amazing and so is their chemistry. It is a binge worthy show, though, so be careful if you start it and just can’t stop! It’s one of those shows you might need to clear a day for!
Have you seen it? Did you love it? Did you binge-watch it, too? Let me know what you think if you decide to watch it–or what you thought if you have already seen it.
Peace out Girl Scouts & have yourself a great weekend,
~Mavis

LOVED Season 1. At first I couldn’t imagine John Lithgow as Churchill but he was PERFECT (even got an Emmy).
Didn’t realize they made another Season til I got the Netflix notification. What a happy surprise!

DH and I both loved season one, so yes we started binge watching last night and watched through the third episode. Then we decided to save the other episodes to “savor” them a little longer! It’s so good and we’d just seen the two leads discussing the show. They are wonderful in their roles.

Saving it too- can you believe they have been married 70 years? Obviously Elizabeth is not giving the crown up unless totally incapacitated. What a reign!
