Red Alert! Mystic Pizza is available to watch this month if you have Amazon Prime. Guess what we’re watching tonight? π I can’t remember the last time I saw this movie but The Girl and I have actually been to the town of Mystic, Connecticut twice. The first time we were there we ate at Mystic Pizza, and the second time we stopped by on St. Patrick’s Day {which is so much fun in the Northeast by the way} and grabbed a few pastries at Sift Bake Shop.
They just don’t make movies like they used to. And Mystic Pizza, is a must see classic!
Let me know what you think if you decide to watch itβor if you have already seen it.
Peace out Girl Scouts & have yourself a great weekend,
~Mavis

Great movie! I spent a year in Fairfield CT and went to Mystic a few times.. what a great little town! Unfortunately the pizza shop was always FULL so I never got to try it.. But I believe we went to Ben and Jerry’s! lol..
I might have to introduce my daughter to this soon!

I have a special place in my heart for this movie — having been born and raised in Connecticut and also being Portuguese. Watched it recently and it still held up all these years later. Enjoy!

My Wife And I Loved Mystic Pizza Movie. It Holds A Special Place In Our Hearts Also. Especially In My Heart Since Julia Roberts Is My 4th Cousin. We Share The Same 3rd Great Grand Father Toghter. He Is Macajah Suttles, On My Father Side Of The Family. Her 2nd Great Grand Mother Is Rhoda Suttles Roberts, Rhoda Is My 2nd Great Aunt.

Love Vincent D’Onofrio in that movie! One of my favorite actors. Julia Roberts is pretty good, too!

How appropriate considering it is National Pizza Day!
