3–4 slices bacon, cut into large chunks
1 head cabbage, cored and sliced
1/2 cup yellow onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
Instructions
Slice your cabbage and set aside. In a large pot over medium heat, fry the bacon. Cook until the bacon is crispy, about 5 minutes. Remove the bacon and set aside. Place onions in the bacon grease, add salt and pepper and cook until tender. Add garlic, saute another minute and then add the cabbage stirring constantly {about 5-7 minutes} until it cooks down. Sprinkle crispy bacon over cabbage and serve warm.
