While I’ve only had this Meyer Lemon Tree a few days, my old lemon tree produced so many Meyer lemons, I was able to make some of the most delicious recipes, like this Meyer Lemon Pudding Cake or this Meyer Lemon Marmalade!     I would love to have a sugar maple. I probably wouldn’t live in this house long enough to tap the tree, but it would be an investment for the future. Hopefully the next person wants to make her own maple syrup.

    I also want a red haven peach tree. I have one peach tree but it needs a companion to do better.

    I would get a Meyer Lemon (you have totally reminded me of how awesome sauce they are!) I would also get a Dwarf banana tree (we have a 3 year old so he can pack away bananas like they are going out of style), the thornless blackberries, the gooseberry and Brazelberry Raspberries (we don’t have the space for a rasp patch like your old house but a raspberry bush is a great alternative!) I think I will be taking advantage of the sale they have now but a giftcard would be fabulous!

    I would get a honeycrisp tree so my husband could have them as much as he wanted…they’re his favorite. Even this last time buying them straight from an orchard they weren’t any better than what we were finding at the store so maybe it would be different if it was completely homegrown. I’d also do some golden raspberry bushes, we love raspberrys here. 🙂

    Mostly because its a dwarf tree and I had a peach and apple tree
    but the power company came in and took them out…saying we can only
    have dwarf trees in the back yard.

    Oh man i see so much i would order from fast growing trees. My husband is going to wish i had not found that site. WOW. I think the #1 thing i would order would be the dwarf cavendish banana tree. been looking one for some time with no luck. The olive tree is catching my eye too.     I would use the credit for a meyer lemon and a persian lime. After reading about how much you love the lemon tree and how easy it is, I have to have one. And the lime tree compliments the lemon. Both can be grown in an indoor pot and I would put them on either side of my dining room window to frame it nicely. Mmmmm, I am thinking of all the cocktails and desserts I would be able to make with lemons & limes 🙂

    Good Morning-While I would love to buy a Meyer Lemon tree and make all those delicious looking recipes from your blog, it is currently 18 degrees BELOW zero in the Northeast where I live! Probably not going to work. I also dream of having a copper beech in my yard but once again it is not realistic. So when I looked at Fast-Growing-Trees, the autumn purple ash caught my eye.     I love growing my own food so would choose a fruit tree: probably Black Tartarian or Rainier Cherry
    If you can successfully grow a Meyer Lemon tree, I probably could too (?). That would be another choice.

    I’d want something cold-hardy to withstand Wyoming’s winters, but would love a fruit tree–fig, pear, plum, apple, avocado (though I doubt even the most cold-hardy avocado tree could survive here!).

    I have wanted a lemon tree for several years now, but my husband is worried that it wouldn’t survive our winters in the high desert. Now I’ll have to show him this website!!! But to save money on groceries, I would use the $100 to buy the clementine tree bc my 2 year old is constantly eating clementines, like 3 a day is when I cut her off. If they were sold out or I had credit left over, I would use it on the Eureka Lemon or the Moro Blood Orange tree.

    well, we live in Montana (burr, right?) but grew up in Washington so I feel totally deprived by all the wonderful things I cannot grow in my yard.     I think the two trees I’d enjoy the most are the Meyer Lemon Tree and the Ice Cream Mango. When my sister is able to get me lemons off her neighbors tree, I juice and freeze them for the rest of the year. I love lemon in almost everything.     If I won I’d get two Sweetheart blueberry bushes, a Stella cherry tree and a Soursop tree. It’s well over $100 but I’m planning a patio garden and will be planting container plantings this spring. I live in an end ground floor apartment unit and have been allowed to put in two raised beds for gardening and can have a container garden for fruit trees. I’m planting strawberries in my flowerbeds to make good use of them and they will look pretty with my flowers.

    OH, it’s a toss up! I really want a fruit tree or 10 in the yard, but the hubs is not down for that. I think one of the 4-in-1 trees would be perfect for our yard. The majority of the family likes apples, but hubs and lil man love pears.     I would spend my gift card on a Meyer Lemon tree. My maiden name is Meier and my grandpa on my dad’s side used to have this tree line his hillside property in southern CA before a fire took all of them. After the fire, he purchased one dwarf tree and kept it in a pot by his garage. As his health declined, the tree was neglected and only watered when the lawn care co came by to mow the grass. When he finally passed, my uncle on my mother’s side took the tree and has been loving it back to health. This was the first year that it produced lemons in many years. This type of tree is very special to me. If there was any funds left over, I would get some berry bushes for the front yard too.

    I live in a small city apartment with a little patio. I have been hoping to try and grow a fruit tree in a container. I was looking at the cherry tree (the blossoms are so pretty), but I love clementines (and I might be able to grow them indoors in the winter, too!). Fresh produce is so expensive here, it would be great to have a supply just steps from my door.

    I would a Meyer lemon. I’ve tried to grow a lemon tree from seed. Grew about 8″ when my cat decided he liked it more. Needless to say lemon tree didn’t survive so this summer I hope to try again.
