    Heirloom tomato seed collection – my husband’s Italian, so we make a lot of homemade tomato sauce. And heirloom tomatoes are always delicious! I’ve never tried growing tomatoes from seed (only from starts), but would love to try these out. Just out of curiosity, when growing tomatoes from seed do you usually start them indoors or just stick them straight in the ground?

    Wow, all of these are fabulous but I would have to choose the super Organic Vegetable Seed Starter Collection. I have been organizing our school garden this year and the kids would go crazy over this selection. We’ve had a very successful winter garden and are now getting the beds ready to plant the spring/summer garden. However, if I was selecting for myself, I would choose the Heirloom Tomato Seed Collection because I love tomatoes and end up canning, drying, etc. every chance I get.

    Any or all of the seed collections interest me greatly! After three years of my back yard lying fallow (no mowing or anything), it is time to reclaim and get back to gardening. I love to put things up, dehydrate things and cook. It is worth the extra time and effort. Come Christmas, giving away baskets of home-made items makes all of us happy!

    I live in the “frozen wastelands of westernmost MA” so our growing season is relatively short. I think my in-laws grew a number of the above offerings in their garden plot, so I have all confidence that there will be good production.

    I let my lifestyle dictate my choice, all options are so lovely. Since we travel for work, the HEIRLOOM TOMATO SEED COLLECTION seems the most reasonable to ask my landlord to babysit.
