This is why I love living here in Maine. The winters. They’re long and cold and magical and cozy all at the same time. Winters here take your breath away.
Every morning I get up, sit at the kitchen table and crack open my laptop. As I write the sun slowly rises and a new view unfolds in front of me.
There has been a lot of snow this January and I am loving every minute of it.
That’s it. That’s all I’ve got for today.

We live on the water in southeast Alaska and have evergreens and mountains and so much wildlife … it makes me so happy to wake up every day to a slightly different view. I will NEVER tire of it.
