Happy 10th Birthday Lucy!!!

Yesterday was Lucy’s 10th birthday and to celebrate we took her on an adventure. Lucy LOVES going anywhere in the car with us so it’s always a treat for her, especially when it’s a long drive.

Our first stop was to Chick-fil-A for a few of their chicken nuggets and waffle fries. 🙂

And 2 waffle fries. She loved it! {And so did we.}

After lunch we took Lucy to her favorite beach for a long walk. When we lived in Southern Maine, I used to take Lucy down to the beach practically every day for a walk.

It never got old and I miss walking on the beach with her becuase every walk was a little different… you never knew what someone would leave behind or what would wash up on shore.  Yesterday we found a battered lobster trap on the sand.

It was a good day. And I’m so glad we made the trip for Lucy’s birthday. She’s the sweetest dog on the planet earth and we can’t imagine our lives without her. 

10 years old! My oh my how time flies. ♥

    Happy Birthday Lucy! What an absolutely beautiful little face! She sure did hit the jackpot landing with you guys, living a fabulous puppy life! Our dogs got a trip to the pet store to pick out a new toy and an ice cream pup cup on their birthdays.

    Goodness, has it been 10 years already! I can hardly believe it. Pretty awesome that you made a big day for her Birthday! I especially love the photo where her ears are blown out. Happy Birthday, Lucy! Talk your humans into having a Birthday week…you deserve it.
