Hello and Happy Thanksgiving from the coast of Maine.
I found this 50 year old issue of The Saturday Evening Post a while back and being the big Walton’s fan that I am, just had to have it. If only there was an extra seat at that table… I’d be there in an instant! {And probably in my pilgrim dress.}
Here’s hoping your day is filled with family and friends and enough leftovers that you don’t have to cook for days. 🙂
Enjoy the day!

Mavis, I’m also a Waltons fan! Went so far as to visit the museum in Virginia, it’s well worth the trip! As a bonus, Jefferson’s Monticello is close by and his amazing gardens are still cultivated.

Happy Thanksgiving Mavis. I am 62 and was a young girl when the Waltons aired. It was a treasure. Hope you and your family have a wonderful holiday.

Mavis not sure if you have heard there is a Walton special on this Saturday on the CW channel just saw it by chance as flipping through cannels yesterday! Hope you get to see it. I love the really old Waltons but not so much the newer ones. Loved the original movie also. Happy Thanksgiving.

Happy Thanksgiving, Mavis!
I also love the Waltons. I even watched it in the hospital while laboring with my first child. My attending OB kinda rolled her eyes and I said “What?!? I should watch Beavis and Butthead instead??”
I loved Grandpa Walton–his character was the epitome of the finest of men…
