I just want to give you a heads up that there will be a heavy snowfall in Maine this year.
Ask me how I know this…
Well, I think it’s pretty well established here that I believe in the “hippy dippy” and being able to read the signs the universe puts out there.
I mean, what else could the face of a snowman at the bottom of your cup of coffee possibly mean?
Mark my words… We’re going to get A LOT of snow this year.
That’s it. That’s all I’ve got for today.
Carry on.

We live in the Rocky Mountain region, and the extended forecast says we’re going to have a bad winter that will start after the first of the year.

Yep, that’s a snowman alright -a sure sign of what’s to come. Enjoy your weekend! I however do not want nor look forward to the ice, snow, or cold blustery wind….
Peace out, girlfriend!

One of my fellow Elections judges is a ‘mountain man’ type guy who’s lived here for 35-plus years. I asked him about the winter; he said that the “mountain noles” were building thicker homes than he’d seen for quite a while. And animals’ fur was thicker, too. He figured we’d be having a much snowier year in southern Colorado. (Last year’s was rather mild.)
One day after the election, we got hit with a three-day blizzard. I haven’t remembered one this long since our daughter was in college, some 15 years ago. So maybe he’s right.

For some reason, I haven’t received your post in my email the last two days. How do I get your posts again?
Mavis Butterfield says
Oh no! I’m not sure what happened. I just signed you up so you should see my emails again. {If not, maybe check your spam folder.}
Lynn from NC Outer Banks says
I see it too!
Hope maybe your prediction covers NC too. Would love to have a bit of the white stuff. It’s been a while!

As a commuter, I hope the same doesn’t hold true for the Midwest, but I love this for you! You all can keep all the snow up there this year 🙂
