This afternoon we were hit with a heavy downpour that lasted about 45 minutes.
And we are going to get a bunch more this afternoon. I don’t know about you, but I am totally ready for fall. Enough with the heat already. I’m ready for cool, crisp mornings and leaves all over the ground. I LOVE wearing jeans and long sleeve t-shirts and so anything over 75 degrees really puts a kink in my wardrobe plans. 😉
The only problem now is… those towels I was trying to dry outside {IN PLAIN VIEW of people walking by!} are now soaked.
Oh well. Rain. It’ does a garden good. 😉

We had a nice monsoon shower last evening. It has been a very hot summer -July temps were 100+ and i’m sure August will be just as hot. Bring on fall ! Spring is usually my favorite season despite our winds , but this year I am so over summer heat. I usually winter over a small bed of lettuce and greens under bubble wrap.

I’m with you – fall weather, fall cooking, fall reading… bring it on! My friends all whinge when it’s raining, but I’m looking forward to our projected rain on Saturday and Sunday. It’s a pity about the Seafair folks, but that’s life in our region. 😉
