Panera $6.99
Compared to last weeks Costco Rebate Check Shopping Trip this week was a total snoozefest. I really didn’t need to buy anything this week but I was over by Panera on Tuesday and remembered about their baker’s dozen special {13 fresh bagels for $6.99} so I went in a grabbed a bunch. I put half in the freezer and we enjoyed the other half for breakfast over the course of a few days. Have you tried the Panera bagels? Do you have a favorite? I love the asiago cheese and cinnamon raisin ones the best.
Since we are still without a cook-top or an oven, the electric skillet I bought is coming in pretty handy. I was able to whip up quite a few grilled cheese sandwiches and scrambled eggs last week which is a nice change from microwave burritos let me tell you. 😉
Smith Brothers Farm – Sponsored
Last week I ordered some cookie dough from Smith Brothers because Chino had told me that once my cabinets were installed the oven would be hooked up and I’d be able to use it. Well that was a BIG FAT LIE. 🙁 The electricians have to do some wiring first and they won’t be here until towards the end of the project so no fresh baked cookies for Monkey Boy. Booo!
But, he did get his chocolate milk… so hopefully that will tied him over until we get out oven back.
How did you do this week? Did you find any good deals?

Not cooking must be frustrating! Maybe you could buy a toaster oven. They come in handy.

I’m sure if you ask nicely your new neighbor will let you put some in her oven…especially if you split the batch with her and her hubby.
