Albertsons – $9.75
Yogurt $0.38 each Jell-o $0.99 each, and Miracle Whip $1.99 with a coupon. Totally boring I know, but I was pretty pumped to get the Jell-o actually since Thanksgiving is right around the corner. Each year I make my grandmothers Jell-o Salad and let me tell you Bob, it’s the best stuff on earth. I save it for special occasions and there is rarely leftovers. I’ll have to post the recipe in case there is anyone else out there who would like to make it too.
Costco $24.86
I put the electric skillet to good use this week and whipped up scrambled eggs for breakfast, sauteed green beans a few times for dinner and even fried some cod. Luckily Chino has promised me the electricians will be hooking up the oven and cook-top this week so I can get back to my normal cooking schedule and use up some of those freezer meals I’ve got stashed away. One can not live on frozen burritos and smoothies alone. Trust me.
Smith Brothers Farm – Sponsored
Ever since The Girl went away to college our milk consumption has gone way down. Like waaaaaay down. Monkey Boy does enjoy his half gallon of chocolate milk each week and I use about a half gallon of 2% for my tea and baking {when I have an oven} but other than that, it seems like The Girl was the one doing the majority of the milk drinking in the family. 🙁
How did you do this week? Did you find any good deals?

Mavis how dare you buy Jello with all those chemicals and colorings!! JUST KIDDING!! Haha….I’m still cracking up over that redonk hatorade you got over the weekend.
Aren’t those tiny green beans so awesome!! We get them at Trader Joe’s and I love throwing them on the grill in a disposable foil pan (that I reuse) or even in the oven at a high temp to kinda get them blistered. If you drizzle a smidge of olive oil on them and then a pinch of coarse salt, they almost taste like fries. Almost. =)

Yes! Share the jello recipe! I am always looking for light jello dishes for holidays.
