I think I was just so happy to be eating fun food again last week that I forgot to take a bunch of pictures. Oh well, I still have a few to share. Kodiak Cakes Oatmeal, have you tried it? It’s a little chewy and has just a hint of sweetness to it and the portion size is spot on. I LOVE it!
Salmon and roasted asparagus.
Ritz Cracker chicken, roasted potatoes and more asparagus.
I tried a new chicken casserole recipe last week and it was delicious! I’ll share the recipe tomorrow.
Hummus and veggies. An easy snack.
Pizza From The General Store $18
And last but not least… Pizza Pizza! I ordered a small but when I went to pick it up they had made me a large. I said nothing…because seriously, who doesn’t like cold pizza for breakfast the next day? {Weirdos, that’s who!}.
How about YOU? Did you eat anything exciting last week? Curious minds want to know.
Have a great day everyone,
~Mavis

Made pierogies for the first time this week! Filled with mashed potatoes and topped with onions and bacon. They went quickly!

There’s a really large fresh-off-the-boat Polish community in my town. The deli imports the good ones. We like the fruit filled ones for desert with a simple sweet sour cream sauce.
There’s a pierogi fest a few towns over.

Wish we had this! We are adopting from Ukraine (3 kids!) And trying to get some recipes in the rotation before they’re here!
