Shelling Peas
Instructions
- Shell peas. Place pods in compost pile.
- Boil water.
- Place fresh peas in boiling water for 1 – 2 minutes {until they turn bright green}.
- Drain Peas. Place peas in ice water. Drain peas again.
- Place peas on a cookie sheet and flash freeze for 1 -2 hours.
- Place peas in labeled zip baggies and place in the freezer.
