My mother called the other day… And it was decided I would bring all the desserts to her Christmas party. Well, all the desserts and 1 side dish. I think this year, I want to go the “finger food route.” Because really, at the end of a large meal, when bellies are protruding and belt buckles have been loosened, the last thing one wants to do is have to choose between 5 different pies. If I make everything more “bite sized” then peeps will get the best of both worlds. They will be able to sample everything on the dessert menu, as well as feel good about their tiny portions.
It is a win-win in my eyes.
One dessert I know I will be making for sure… Is home make gingerbread.
Here is my favorite recipe.
