I love, love, love getting Christmas cards from friends and family, but for years, I didn’t know what to do to keep them neat and organized. They would end strewn about my house haphazardly because I didn’t have enough magnets for the fridge. So, I came up with a quick little organization method that makes it easy to add new incoming cards. It’s quick, efficient, and COST EFFECTIVE.
This method also makes them super easy to store, and since I kind of like to keep the cards from year to year so that every once in awhile, in a moment of nostalgia, I can flip through them and mutter to myself about how fast the time goes. As an added bonus, you might even have everything on hand.
You’ll Need
Loose leaf ring
A hole punch
Directions
Using your hole punch, punch a hole in the corner of each Christmas card.
Slip the cards onto the ring and close it. Then, I usually set it on the coffee table for people to peruse when they visit. Then, at the end of the seaason, I tuck them away in my Christmas decor box. Easy pleasy, right?

I started doing this a few years back! I keep mine in a holiday basket in the kitchen. I like it because it’s more accessible for the kids (and us ) to look at during the season. When Christmas is done all I do is u clip, keep the photo cards for our album and donate the ones with no writing on the front cover or throw out the rest.

I have a narrow wall that is seen all day long passing to the kitchen, bedrooms, bathroom, and Christmas tree. One year I just started taping them all up on the wall. It reminds me of how lucky I am to have friends and family who take the time to send me a card and it is festive!
Hope you and your family have a wonderful Christmas!
