Are you an Amazon Prime member? Are you wondering how to redeem Amazon no rush shipping credits?
If so, you’ve probably noticed you can earn rewards by choosing free no-rush shipping at checkout. Basically the holiday shopping season is insane for Amazon. Go figure, right?
And so they’ve been trying to encourage people who don’t need their gifts right away to opt out of the typical guaranteed 2-day free shipping and have their orders shipped a little later.
It’s a pretty sweet deal if you’re not in a rush and have a little patience. You either earn rewards on future purchases or receive discounts immediately, simply for agreeing to receive your order in about 6 business days instead of 2.
The rewards Amazon has been offering can be used on all sorts of things.
They can be used for buying eBooks, movies, groceries and pantry staples on Prime Pantry, Digital Music, Amazon Appstore apps, Digital Video Games, Digital Software and pretty much anything else.
Different items qualify for different things. You’ll see which reward your order qualifies for in the offer at checkout.
Rewards are automatically added to your Amazon.com account once your order ships, and they are automatically applied to qualifying orders as well. You’ll get an email with the details of your promotional rewards AFTER your order ships.
How to Redeem Amazon No Rush Shipping Credits
Then, the next time you shop on Amazon.com you can simply pop over HERE to redeem those credit.
So far this holiday season I’ve been offered a $5 Luxury Beauty Reward {which I plan to snag 2 face masks for my daughter with} and $3.00 in digital rewards which I’ll use to rent a free movie for one of our movie nights.
It’s not much, but seriously, if you can wait a few days to get your item, why not tick the box and get a freebie or two? This is just another perk {in a long list} of being a Prime member! You can get all the details HERE.
How about YOU? Have you been offered shipping credit/rewards lately? Did you take Amazon up on them? I’d love to know.

I always take the free credits! Recently I snagged a $10 credit and bought a $30 rug on lightning deal for free!!

I only ever get offered pantry credits and you can only use one at a time. $5 off something I will never buy doesn’t incentivize me. I want your cool credits!

Me, too!

Me too!!! Amazon Prime Now! I have 5 credits and I haven’t found anything I want to buy.

I have only been offered amazon services credits, which I totally don’t want. I tried to want them, but most services aren’t even available 8n my area anyway. I should call amazon and see if i can get it changed…

I just checked and have a $5 Toy and Games credit! I forgot I checked the box. I think I will have another one in a week or so from some books I ordered that I didn’t need in a hurry.
Deanna says
I recently purchased one of the popular items (Fingerlings) and was offered a $5.00 toy credit. <3

How do determine what type of credit to give you? I have a $1 digital reward. Awesome. A $5 prime panty reward. I’ve never ordered a pantry item from Amazon yet. And a $10 CD & Vinyl Record reward. Umm, I don’t think I’ll be using that as I don’t buy music and didn’t know you could still buy vinyl.
Carrie says
My husband and I love our record player. We mostly listen to our parents albums. Current new albums are so expensive! I’d love to have a credit for vinyl!

I was issued a 15 amazon credit towards anything. The prime pantry and luxury stuff just isn’t my thing. I only end up spending more money on stuff I don’t really need.

Hello, Miss Mavis.
It’s me, LaToya from Boise. From years ago when we were extreme couponing, double-couponing at Albertsons … Anyway. Thought I’d post to wish you a merry merry. I still creep around here. I like to keep up with your goal posts and your weekly spend posts. And I check out the subscribe and save deals too. And I like to see the weird crap your mom gives you – I can’t wait to see your Christmas haul this year. And all the gift cards you win with the family games.
What’s up with the crappy British teeth these days? I spent about $6K on mine this year (out of pocket) and I still have one missing that they don’t want to implant or bridge because the two around it are in good shape. And my kid is on the 4-year braces plan – awesome!

LaToya!!! 🙂 British crappy teeth are need of a $3,000 repair…. So there goes 2018’s deductible and then some. I too am excited about my Mother’s box. Thanks for checking in and a Merry merry back at you.

Mavis, I looked at the offer one time to forego 2 day shipping, and the offer was 3 cents off. No joke. I haven’t checked since.
Mavis Butterfield says
Oh that is hilarious!

I have been doing the no-rush shipping for credits for a long time, and I buy a lot on Amazon. My favorite is the digital credits. If they offer me something else, I take the 2-day shipping.
When they first offered Pantry credits, Amazon didn’t limit you to one per order. So I accumulated a lot and then sent over 120 lbs. of cat litter to a 90-year-old friend who found it hard to schlep cat litter home for the price of the $6.99 shipping. That was probably my biggest score. Almost immediately after that they enacted the limit (I hope it wasn’t my fault).

Here in the UK they offer a £1 credit on downloads (video, music, books) for every leisurely shipping opportunity. There are no specific offers and I haven’t noticed it change for two years. This is fine by me, I’ve had a couple of free albums this year and have a stack of credits lined up for next year following my Christmas shopping. It was a bit of a ‘Eureka!’ moment for me when I realised I could order every single thing separately and get my £1 credit on each of them, rather than ordering a big stack of stuff for Christmas gifts in one order. Amazon still ship them in the same box at the same time, I just get £10 or £15 extra credit on the deal. Plus by signing up for an Amazon credit card I earn credits to spend on anything as well.

Thanks for this reminder! I had actually clicked on the $5 off luxury item for a package the week of Thanksgiving. However, they sent me a message the next day saying “Surprise! We were able to get your item out sooner than expected. It will arrive (the day after Thanksgiving).” Well, that was a problem because I was out of town and really checked that box because I wanted it to be delayed! Ha! I did not get an email saying I had been issued the reward though so I forgot about it. I just went in and checked and it is there! So, yay!

Amazon customer service couldn’t help me locate the balance page—but you did! So thank you!!

Well I tried to use my Digital Reward. I received a message on my Alexa Dot saying I had @12.50 in digital rewards. Alexa also asked if I wanted an email sent as a reminder, to which I said yes. I got my e-mail containing the same information as the message from Alexa. We only had a could days to use them so we watched two movies on Amazon Prime. Both of the movies appeared on my Mastercard, and do not appear to have been deducted from my rewards. What did I do wrong. I probably wouldn’t have watched them if they had not been, in my way of thinking, FREE.
