Things are getting back to normal around here. We’ve been enjoying smoothies and home baked bread as snacks and The Girl and I have been walking to the stores for most all our shopping. The week before last we racked up 23 miles of walking, this past week it was 25 PLUS she ran a half marathon over the weekend. We are staying busy and having a blast this summer.
Fred Meyer $25.96
Blueberries were on sale for $1.99 a pound and peaches and nectarines were $0.99 a pound. I also picked up Parmesan cheese {for pesto} along with some garlic and a wee bit of coleslaw from the deli. Now that all the major summer fruits have been on sale it’s time to enjoy eating out of the garden! 🙂
Random treats from my parents house.
4 bags of cherries, chocolate covered raisins, edamame, granola bars, a wee bit of candy and a small collection of condiment packets {for those of you who may have forgotten, my mother “collects” things}. Thanks Mom! 😉

Hi Mavis! You always show monthly and annual spending amounts. Have you ever discussed what budgeting software you use?

Hi Mavis,
I really enjoy reading about your shopping trips and menu for the week. This week I went to an Amish farm and purchased a half-bushel of beets. I spent the weekend roasting & canning them. I got 8 quarts and 7 pints – – – I am set for the year with beets!
