If you ever find yourself near Henniker, New Hampshire and you’re in the mood for pancakes or eggs benedict, you’ll want to check out the Intervale Pancake House.
The Intervale Pancake House has been in business for over 30 years and not only do they know how to make pancakes, they also make their own maple syrup.
Pancakes and real maple syrup, what’s not to love about that?
While out on our “date day” The HH and I stopped in for breakfast. Having been to the Intervale Pancake House a few times before, we knew it would be good.
The place was hopping, the staff was friendly and the food came out quick. What more could you ask for?
Whenever we go out for breakfast, I pretty much always order the eggs benedict if it’s on the menu. The HH is usually a pancakes and sausage guy {sometimes an omelet, but mostly pancakes and sausage}.
It’s funny, the older we get the easier it is to look at a menu {in any type of restaurant} and be able to accurately predict what my husband will order. Can you do that too?
If I happen to have a pen and paper in my pocket I’ll even write down what I think {know!} he will order and show it to him after the waitress takes our order and walks away. It’s kind of a silly thing to do but I still get a kick out of it.
Intervale Pancakes House, if you’ve ever near Henniker, New Hampshire you’ll want to stop in for a bite. The food is good, the atmosphere is warm and the people are friendly there. Small, locally owned businesses, they’re the best!
And don’t forget to grab a jug of syrup while you’re there. 🙂
Have a great day everyone,
~Mavis

We used live nearby and went to breakfast there many times! Great breakfast and good skiing at Pat’s Peak where our kids learned to ski.

Besides being tasty, I think those prices are good, especially including real maple syrup. Yum.

I can’t believe how inexpensive their menu is! The pancake place in town runs $15 and up (mostly up) for their pancakes and waffles. I don’t remember omelets being any cheaper. I will say the portions are generous. However it is at least $100 for breakfast for 4. And for $100 I can whip up a lot of breakfast at home from scratch.

I also always order Eggs Benedict. The Freeport Cafe has the best I’ve ever had. Its my favorite breakfast place around here.

If you’re ever in Henniker, check out the Old Number Six! It’s one of the absolute best used bookstores ever. They have popular stuff, scholarly stuff, recent stuff, very old stuff, and everything in between. Prices are excellent. These kinds of places are getting rarer and rarer, and it will be awful when they’re gone. Also, if you’re weeding your own books and they aren’t suitable for Little Free Libraries, take them to the Old Number Six, where they will be very likely to find a new home.
