Poor Lucy puggle. I think she misses Mrs. HB. 🙁 All she did yesterday was lounge around with the HH and want to cuddle. She LOVES having people over, and misses the excitement.
In other news…. The Farmer’s Almanac announced their weather forecast for 2019 and I’m kind of jumping up and down about it. SNOW. Lot’s of SNOW is in the forecast. Yipeeeeeeee!

You say that now, but it gets old fast when you keep getting snow and just trying to go out for awhile is a major production in clearing off the car or your roads aren’t plowed yet.

Agree 100%! I think people romantise the snow (lightly falling on Christmas Eve, etc..) and not the 3 feet we received during a 2 week period! Or the prolonged ( one week for us) power outages that go along with them! I’ll take rhe hot, humid weather any day!

Snow is beautiful during the first storm but it gets old (and dirty looking awfully fast. Then there’s the year we had over 200 inches–not fun. Another year we had 1 storm that dropped 39 inches. My husband had to clear the yards and roofs at our house, my parents house, his parents house (both out of town) and at the family barn. He had to take an unexpected vacation due to the snow and I only saw him when he came home for dry clothes.
