THIS GIVEAWAY IS NOW CLOSED.
One of my goals for this year is to discover 12 {new to me} Maine businesses and tell you about them on the blog. With so many makers and unique small businesses here in Maine, I’d love to be able to give them a little shout out and share them with you as I come across them this year.
On our latest date day adventure, the HH found Sheepscot General Store and Farm in Whitefield, Maine and while we were there we found a display full of pure Maine maple syrup from Uncas Farms.
Uncas Farms makes their maple syrup right across the street from the general store, so it doesn’t get more local than that! 😉 And well, who doesn’t love maple syrup? It’s the perfect Made in Maine treat, don’t you think?
So hey, let’s do a giveaway.
One Lucky Person Will Win:
- {1} 16 ounce bottle of Pure Maple Syrup from Uncas Farm in Whitefield, Maine
- {1} 20 ounce box of Power Cakes Flapjack and Waffle Mix from Kodiak Cakes {not made in Maine}
All you have to do to enter this giveaway is leave a comment below and answer this one question: What is one thing you are looking forward to doing this month? That’s it, that’s all you’ve got to do. Pretty complicated, right? 😉
Rules
Comment must be left on the blog to count as an entry. 1 entry per person/ip address. If you cheat, you will totally be disqualified. {Comments may take an hour or two to be cleared, so please be patient}.
This giveaway ends Sunday, April 11th @8 pm EST and the winner will be announced on Monday, April 12th. You will be notified via email and have 48 hours to claim your prize. If you do not claim your prize within 48 hours, the prize will be forfeited and I will eat your pancakes and maple syrup. You snooze, you lose.
Note: This giveaway can only be shipped within the United States of America.
Good Luck! I hope you win!
~Mavis

Brianna says
I have a friend who just took her 96yo mother out for the first time 3 weeks ago. An appointment and lunch. She said it was just nice to have normalcy again. She had been isolated in the assisted living in just her room for the past year, even from other residents, no socials or community meals. It is heartbreaking for those seniors, they need human connections.
Dianne says
That is so sad what is happening to our parents & grandparents. I can’t even imagine being in that situation.
Lynn from NC Outer Banks says
Yes, since we have all had vaccines, we were able to check my 94 yr old MIL out of her assisted living situation for a day trip to a family Easter lunch. We were quite careful. It was the first time she had been for an outing in over a year, except for medical appointments. It was SO good for her to see and hug her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren! We were also able to visit her, in person in her room, for the first time yesterday. That was much better than visiting through a glass door or window, though we have been thankful for those options as well over this last year. Hoping that cases will improve across the US and the world.
