If you’re headed to Maine this summer {or hey, maybe you live here} and you’re looking for some great grab and go options that are not only DELICIOUS {!!} but has tons of vegan, vegetarian, gluten free & dairy free options, be sure and check out Maggie Mae’s in Yarmouth, Maine.
We discovered Maggie Mae’s last month while checking out a local nursery in the area and we’re not only pleasantly surprised at the food, but how friendly the owners were.
We are already looking forward to going back!
Isn’t this place adorable!?
There are baked goods, chips, cold drinks, salads, wraps and sandwiches made to order.
And get this… They have a refrigerator and freezer stocked full of ready made meals to go. I love it!!
Maggie Mae’s is really big on partnering with local farms for their fresh ingredients. They also work hard to stock their gift section with locally made products as well.
You see a lot of this in Maine. Small businesses buying from and promoting from other small businesses. It’s one of the {many} things I love about Maine!
I ordered the Nutty Professor salad. It was a 10/10!
The HH ordered the chicken caesar wrap and said it was the best he’s ever had. Seriously, we both loved this place. Spending your hard earned dollars on take out is always a gamble, but this place ticked all the boxes for us.
Fresh food, great service, a clean environment and leaving us wanting to come back again.
They even have a gift section!
In fact Maggie Mae’s little gift corner has been so popular with the locals, that during the holidays they convert their dining space into an expanded gift area.
How fun is that!?
Just like the sign above the window says… Good Food Matters. And I couldn’t agree more.
We loved Maggie Mae’s. I hope you will too.
Maine. The way life should be. 😉

I live in NC and have a friend whose sister owns a farm stand in Ellsworth that seems right up your alley! She stocks homemade dinners, pies, and ice cream. If you’re near, you might want to check it out! (Their family owned a restaurant famous for its pies.)
