I once told a friend once who was complaining that she hated cooking that she should go out and buy a bunch of cookbooks and read them like she would a novel. The pretty pictures and yummy recipes would inspire her. It totally {and accidentally} worked because she ended up buying a Fix It and Forget It cookbook that blew her mind.
I guess she didn’t even own a slow cooker before that. What?!! I was blown away. I asked her like 5 times if she was serious. Who doesn’t own a slow cooker? I pretty much figured every sane, busy human had one because they make getting dinner on the table a breeze. It totally made sense why she hated cooking. Take away my Crock Pot and I’d probably hate it too.
In honor of her cooking breakthrough, I’m giving away a couple Fix It and Forget It cookbooks!
One lucky reader will win 2 Fix it and Forget It Cookbooks with a retail value of $30 or less from this list.
To enter for a chance to win, simply leave a comment below letting me know what two cookbooks from this list you’d choose if you won.
Just answer that one question and you’re entered to win. Life’s pretty complicated sometimes, so I like to keep things simple around here.

Set it & Forget it : Vegetarian Cookbook. We’re working on lowering our food budget other ways beyond growing our own (because we live in an apartment with no yard) & without using too many coupons on processed foods. One way is having 3-dinners of meat meals (Usually a roast chicken + chicken leftovers + one additional meat), 1 egg dish & 3 vegetarian dishes. But…. I’M SUPER LIMITED ON MY VEGETARIAN DISH KNOWLEDGE!
Set it & Forget it: Big Cookbook sounds like fun too. 1400 slow cooker recipes. Could go all Julie & Julia on that bad boy. Blog about making slow cooker meals cover to cover…. & probably going through like 10 crock pots in the process.
