For today’s giveaway, I bring you four of the greatest books ever written. Granted they’ll never win a Pulitzer, but they totally should. All the writers are quirky and a little off, which is probably why I love them so much. Even if you don’t win this giveaway, I’d recommend adding these to your must read lists. They’re that awesome.

You’ll have to choose which book you want {which I know will be a totally agonizing choice}.

For a chance to win, simply leave a comment below and let me know which book you’d choose if you won and why. Are you are hypochondriac too? Are you a really big deal?  Do you like ironic, cartoon anecdotes? Ducks? Or maybe you just like easy reads that don’t make you cry or think about hard stuff?

Just answer that one question and you’re entered to win. Life’s pretty complicated sometimes, so I like to keep things simple around here.

This giveaway ends  December 7, 2013 @6 pm PST and the winner will be announced in the December 8th, 2013 edition of Mornings with Mavis. You will be notified via email and have 24 hours to claim your prize. If you do not claim your prize within 24 hours, the prize will be forfeited.

    I would love to win the Si-cology 101 book! I totally adore and respect all of the members of the Robertson family, but Si is my absolute favorite! I have read all of the other books by the Robertson family members, but haven’t read this one yet! I love hearing all of the crazy thoughts that come out of that man’s head.

    I would love to win Sicology-1 Tales and Wisdom Form Duck Dynasty’s Favorite Uncle. I love the show, which is funny, heart warming, and down to earth, and always ends with the family gathered around a meal in prayer. I’d expect the book to be pretty much the same-down to earth and real. Hope I win!

    I would love “The Complete Manual of Things That Might Kill You” for oh-so-many reasons! (1) I work in the health-care field, and it will be great to have this little book to confirm many of our patients worst fears (kidding!). (2) My high school daughter believes absolutely everything she reads–especially on the internet–AND she’s convinced that every little ache or pain is reason to run to the emergency room. (3) On the flip side, my husband could be dying of the bubonic plague, and he would insist that it’s just a little cold that needs to run it’s course. (4) Given #2 and #3, isn’t it obvious this book would solve everything!? (5) I need a new coffee-table conversation starter book. (6) I have a good friend with whom we read books like this and laugh like school-girls. (Try “The Gentleman’s Guide to Life” – hilarious! But perhaps it’s not supposed to be?)     Um…I can’t decide! My husband loves ‘Hyperbole and a Half’ (especially her dogs!), but I am an anatomy & physiology instructor and would *love* ‘The Complete Manual of Things That Might Kill You.’ I think my students would get a kick out of it!

    I’d choose The Complete Manual of Things That Might Kill You and share it with my sister in memory of our grandmother. No matter what illness we ever came down with, her sister Dawn would have been suffering from the same thing for two weeks! I always wanted to tell Gram I had a prostate infection just to see if Aunt Dawn would be dealing with that too!

    I’m a nurse too. So, The Complete Manual of Things That Might Kill You is a must read! But in all honesty I have to tell you that since I am a nurse…I wore out my eyes reading medical literature. So I would prefer a trip to Argentina with Vigo Mortenson. Thank you!
