UPDATE: This Giveaway is now closed.
Hello Wednesday!
As a way of giving back and thanking you for showing up here on this crazy little blog of mine, whether it’s everyday or every week or just when you need to pop by for a recipe, I thought it would be fun to give away 6 unique gifts this holiday season that have brought me a bit of happiness over the past year.
Normally I start my annual giveaway series in December, but this year I decided to move the date up a bit to make sure all the giveaway boxes have plenty of time to arrive and don’t get caught up in the holiday mailing rush.
Some of the giveaways will be locally made products we’ve discovered since moving to Maine, some will be handmade, and few will be something I’ve recently discovered and fell in love with and well, just had to share.
There will be 3 giveaways this week, and 3 next week. The winners will be announced on Tuesday, November 16th, 2021. You may enter each giveaway one time.
I am SO EXCITED about this years giveaways!
Thanks for being a part of this blog, and keeping the conversation going.

Mavis’ Favorite Things Giveaway – Day 1 – Rancho Gordo Beans and Hearth and Harrow Dish Towels
I think it’s been pretty well documented here on the blog that I love beans, and so after reader Mel told me about her purchase from Rancho Gordo Bean Company in Napa, California last year, I decided to place an order for a few bean varieties I had never tried before. And well, I was impressed!
Rancho Gordo has a HUGE selection of old fashioned, heirloom beans and they are so popular, they even have a waitlist for some of their bean varieties! How crazy is that?
Another thing I fell in love with this year were the organic dish towels from Hearth and Harrow out of Rockport, Maine.
Two lucky people will each win a set of 6 varieties of Rancho Gordo Beans and 2 Matching Tea Towels from Hearth and Harrow. Wahoo!
The six types of beans in this giveaway are:
- Moro Beans
- Black Caviar Lentils
- Christmas Lima Beans
- Vaquero Beans
- Yellow Eye Beans
- Scarlett Runner Beans
All you have to do to enter this giveaway is leave a comment below and let me know which set of dishtowels you’d like if you won this giveaway – Lobsters or Chickens.
That’s it, that’s all you’ve got to do. Just answer that one question. Pretty complicated, right? 😉
Rules
Comment must be left on the blog to count as an entry. 1 entry per person/ip address. If you cheat, you will totally be disqualified. This giveaway is open to anyone on the planet earth. You may enter each giveaway in this series one time. {Comments may take an hour or two to be cleared, so please be patient}.
This giveaway ends Monday, November 15th, 2021 @ 6 pm EST and all the winners of the Mavis’ Favorite Things Giveaway Series will be announced on Tuesday, November 16th, 2021. Winners will be notified via email and have 24 hours to claim their prize. If the prize is not claimed within 24 hours, the prize will be forfeited.
Good Luck! I hope you win!
♥ Mavis
