Out of all the garden chores there are, pulling weeds is probably the worst one there is.
But it sure does make you feel good when you’re done.
This morning I headed out pretty early to tackle the weeds surrounding the greenhouse. Even after all these years, it always amazes me how quickly they grow.
If you haven’t already begun to think about your fall garden, now is the time to do so. After pulling weeds this morning, I went ahead and planted sugar snap peas alongside the greenhouse, and with any luck, they should be ready to harvest in about 60 days.
I don’t know about you, but I’m ready for fall.
Will you be planting fall peas this year? If so, when do/did you plant them?

I just put together a new 4×4 ft raised bed and am trying a Three Sisters garden in it. Will be planting Alaskan peas at the base of some corn. Pretty excited!

We’ve done that in the past and it works really well. Good Luck Jennifer!

Funny thing is I actually like pulling weeds (when the ground is soft enough!) I leave the planting and pruning to the others and weeding is my job. That, and picking the goods 🙂
