I was trying to come up with a way to bring all of you along on our upcoming east coast adventure. But since I can’t buy everyone a plane ticket or offer you a seat in the car, I’ve decided to post a daily travel log of our adventures over the next week. I can’t promise you my updates will be incredibly coherent or award worthy {as I plan to write them before crawling into bed every night} but I’m hoping these posts will serve several purposes:
1. It will give my husband a chance to see what we’ve been up to.
2. It will show my parents that even though I am 44 years old, I can travel/function/eat/get around ALL ON MY OWN. 😉 I’m kinda convinced I will always be a crazy teenager in their eyes. But then again… even when my kids are 52 they’ll still be my babies. So I totally get it.
3. Hopefully the travel log will give Mrs. HB something to look at other than crap she doesn’t need at TJ Maxx.
4. Be a sort of visual thank you card to the people we’ve hung out with/met along the way {and way cheaper and more fun than a thank you card and a stamp}.
5. Like all the trips The Girl and I go on… this one will probably whiz by, and having a daily account of what we did will help us remember because we will probably be so tired when we get back we won’t’ remember everything.
Since I won’t be at home thinking up clever ways to save money… I’m hoping a travel log will be a good substitute in the interim. 😉
Here’s hoping for a good trip!

Happy travels! Now, if you could just figure out a way to send us all some of those bakery treats you will be having….now that would be something!

I love when you document your trips for us! The farthest I’ve been in the last year is PA to visit my Aunt’s family (I live in NY….so pretty lame-o distance wise!)

Have a great trip!
Did you ever tell us how it is that you have 2 houses? And so far apart?
Thanks!
