Just wanted to pull you away from all of your festivities for a quick sec to wish you all a very Merry Christmas. I hope you too are surrounded by people you love and who love you back. I’m hoping Santa brings you an awesome present and not a drop of coal.
I hope you were wise and steered clear of the tinsel this year, otherwise it will haunt you until the Easter grass shows up in April. But mostly I hope you have followed Buddy the Elf’s motto and stuck to the 4 main {Christmas} food groups: candy, candy canes, candy corns and syrup.
Christmas is always better when it’s sugar coated.
Merry Christmas!
~Mavis

Sending merry and happy wishes back at you Mavis. Also, many thanks for an engaging and humorous look into your gardening life. Checking in daily with your blog has inspired me to try new things I wouldn’t have otherwise done. And for that I thank you. Now if i happened upon a little bit of coal, I would hope Santa was leaving some biochar for my garden.

I have to see what family has gotten me and my guy first. Then make a list of what we actually need and make a logically decision from there. He already got his kruig, i got a new apron. I cant think of something we need and will use often off the top of my head not knowing what else we will receive this year for presents.
