Christmas and the holiday season has taken on a whole new meaning since The Girl left for college. My family was not complete until we were all under the same roof once again. Sounds pretty sappy, but it’s so true! That is why I was marking off the days and anticipating Christmas as eagerly as a child anticipates Santa’s arrival.
She’s home. Our family unit is once again complete. There is nothing I will unwrap from under the tree quite as valuable as that.
This Christmas, I hope you are showered with gifts equally as intangible and just as amazing. May your homes, bellies and lives be full.
Fill those mugs with cocoa, sing another round of Jingle Bells, down another candy cane {or 12} and have yourselves a Merry Little Christmas!
Cheers!Mavis

Wanted you to know my 2 year old granddaughter and I made the birdseed ornaments for her to give as gifts. Easy to make and actually functional! EVERYONE loved them, especially the birds. Thanks for sharing such relevant and useful ideas! Merry Christmas day 2. 😉
