This week was pretty slow around here. I didn’t buy much because I’ve been home baking cookies and putting a few meals away for later in the week when I’m gone on our Epic Road Trip to St. Jude. We’ve also been eating from our garden and using items we purchased last week so I really didn’t need to buy much.
Here are the things I picked up:
Albertsons $11.99
Note to self: Never go shopping when you are craving sugar because you might just come home with a giant tub of licorice and eat 25 pieces on the way home from the store. 😉 Ha!
Fred Meyer – $5.43
I needed some unsweetened coconut and sliced almonds for my homemade Honey and Almond Granola recipe. I’ve been in love with Bob’s Red Mill unsweetened coconut for awhile now and it’s the only stuff I’ll buy.
Fred Meyer $5.18
Moooooo!
And last but not least, here’s what I picked up from Mr. Produce Guy last week for free. 🙂

Wow, I am so envious of your produce from Mr. Produce Guy. I haven’t been able to pick up any lately. I’m either missing it or someone else is taking it. Boo. Miss our produce, the chickens do too. At least produce form the garden is starting to trickle in.

Hi Mavis.. Did you know that the Tops Grocery Store on Union is closing? They were always way to high in their stuff.. but I went there today and things are 25% 30% off… I want to go back on Wednesday.. I get my food stamps then.. and get lots of things. Lots of shelves are empty but there are lots of fruits and veggies left..
