My goals for 2017
Get 7- 8 Hours of Sleep Each Night
I made sure to take care of myself last week and got plenty of sleep. I’m also trying to drink more water and just relax about a lot of things in general too. You can only control so much so why bother getting yourself worked up about it?
Make Saving a Priority, Not an Idea
We are chipping away at our mortage and it feels good.
Live a little
Lucy’s Easter surprise arrived a few days early and she’s so excited about it. This is my big splurge of the year and I have zero buyers remorse. 😉 She’s a good pup and she sure does love her babies.
Visit 52 REAL Bakeries
So far we have visited 13 bakeries this year. I’ll share another one this week.
Have 1 “no spend” week each month
Next week…. it’s on!
Start a Line of Rug Hooking Patterns
Last week I added another pattern – Hilda and Mabel’s Prize Winning Beet to my Etsy shop just in time for spring {my goal is to have 12 listed by the end of the year}.
Turn My Wool Stash into $2,500. Â Goal accomplished.
I sold $330.87 worth of goodies in my Etsy and Ebay shops last week. That brings my total to $2675.10 for the year so far. I added more items to my Etsy and Ebay shops including a new pattern, some mini rugs and flowers. This week I’ll be working on a pillow {maybe two}, a large whale rug and getting another pattern listed.
Play in The DirtÂ
I shared some pictures over on Dig for Your Dinner this morning if you want to pop over. You can see how the coop is positioned behind the garden boxes. With warmer temps on the horizon I’m hoping to get a few more things planted this week as well as pressure wash the driveway.
Purge 250 Items Including Selling Larger Items We No Longer Feel We Need
So far I’ve purged 86 items this year. I need to get cracking if I plan to hit 25o by July.
Learn to Crochet  Goal accomplished.
I did learn to crochet.
Dote on My Husband Even More Than I Do Now.
The HH and I took a little road trip this weekend and had a great time away from the day to day stuff that goes on at home.
Lose the Muffin Top. {again}
Lucy and I are both working on eating a wee less each day. I’m hoping to have kicked Muffy to the curb by the end of June, and have Lucy slimmed down by the end of summer.
Wear out {most of} the clothing I already own.
I could use a new pair of jeans. And shoes. 😉
Try 52 New Recipes
This week I tried Power Dare Bites and The Girl really liked them.
Read 52 Books
The Girl and I are currently listening to Year of No Clutter on Hoopla Digital. It’s kinda funny. I’m more into audiobooks this year than print. I like that I can be working on a rug hooking project or cooking something and listen to the story in the background rather than having to sit down and devote a day or two. Of course, I could totally see this changing if it was wintertime and I was sitting next to a wood stove.

How about YOU? Did you set any goals for 2017? How are they coming along?
