Hello Monday! Stay tuned and check My All Time Favorite Thanksgiving Recipes
Normally on Mondays I share how much we spent on groceries and the meals we ate the previous week, but with Thanksgiving just a few days away, I thought I would share my all time favorite Thanksgiving recipes today instead.
To me, the Thanksgiving meal is all about the side dishes and desserts… the more the merrier I say, and the best part about Thanksgiving is all the leftovers {and not having to cook for days afterwards}.
So here is a list of all my favorite recipes that will go perfectly alongside your Thanksgiving turkey.
And if you have a favorite recipe you make on the big day that you’d like to share, please let us know in the comment section below. We’d love to hear about it.
Have a wonderful day,
~Mavis

The Amberlina’s Sweet Potatoes has been on my table every Thanksgiving since the first time you shared it. Literally incredibly delicious!
Last year I made many batches of your Christmas Jam and I have so many repeat requests that I am planning another batch. A total crowd pleaser!

Thanks for sharing these awesome recipes. This year my 18 year-old grandson asked to help me cook and I am so excited about it. Maybe it will become a new family tradition?

I agree that it is possible to have a complete Thanksgiving meal with just sides. I don’t fuss much anymore, but I look forward to this meal with the special dishes.
Last year I swapped out my traditional mac and cheese for your homemade scalloped potatoes, and I loved them! They are part of my plan for this year.

For some of the leftovers last year I made waffles out of the cornbread dressing. Topped with a bit of mashed potatoes, turkey and covered with a bit of the gravy. It was delicious. I also always make a batch of Brunswick stew with left over turkey and stock. It is my favorite.

I had picked up grapes today and since Mavis said it’s her #1 side dish salad I clicked to look at the grape salad recipe. Well I have the ingredients so will be making it for Thanksgiving, but it made me think of my favorite way to eat strawberries. First dipped in sour cream and then into brown sugar, I cannot wait to make this salad with strawberries from my garden (you know in May).
