Online Things
I am happy to report that I am officially done dyeing wool for the year!!! I can’t even tell you how good this feels.
The idea of squeezing a year’s worth of cutting, dyeing, bundling wool into 3 months was a big task, but I did it.
Now all that’s left is to finish up the patterns and kits {which I plan on finishing up this week} and then I can get outside and play in the yard! Yee- Haw.
Another one of my goals for this year is to hook 4 new large patterns. I LOVE the big rugs!!! There is so much satisfaction when they’re done.
I am currently working on rug #2, it’s another whale design and so far, so good.

House Things
I probably shouldn’t have started painting the downstairs bathroom until I knew we could finish it. Oh well… I should have the time to finish up the painting next week.
Then all that will be left is for the HH to hang the mirror and install the new faucet.

- Freshen up Bathroom #2
- Put Stuff On The Walls

Garden Things
Good news! The snow is all gone! The bulbs are beginning to pop through the soil and in about another week we’ll be able to get out there and start digging up the side yard.
Having a small yard does have its benefits… But I suppose the big question will be what in the world am I going to do when it’s done? Hmmm.
I have no idea what kind of tulips these are!!! The snow and cold weather washed away the sharpie marks. Oops.
- Grow 365 pounds of food in my teeny tiny backyard.
- Install a side yard {flower} garden
- Make a Potting Bench
- Make a Garden Cart to sell flowers/veggies out front
Kitchen Things
I miss the blue AGA. I told the HH that if we redo the kitchen I want to get another one. He just rolled his eyes at me.
Maybe if we got a different style I wouldn’t have to hook so many rugs to pay for it. Then again, why settle? 😉 Why not go big or go home?
Don’t you think a house with old wooden beams and pine floors needs an AGA? I sure do.
- Try 12 new recipes
- Fill the canning cupboard

Marriage Things
For date day we took a ride. It doesn’t sound very exciting, but it was. There were a lot of people out and it felt like the end of winter and the beginning of spring.
It feels like everything is beginning to wake up after a long winter and something good is on the horizon.
- Keep my husband busy {I got him to go to the lumber store for wood for more buoys!!}
- Date days
- Walk more

Mums the word on secret project #1. I thought I might have time to get started on it last week but I didn’t {all that wool!}. Hopefully soon though.
How about YOU? Are you making progress with YOUR goals for 2025?

When our sons were young, their dad had to go away on business trips occasionally. One month was an exception, and we had to meet him at the airport with a suitcase of clothes so he could fly out again an hour later. The boys made signs with ‘Mr D’ on them, mimicking chauffeurs picking up their client. The other passengers loved it, my OH, not so much.
I’d love an AGA in my kitchen….

But…are those kitty teasers you’re waving at him?

My goal for this year is to sew down my stash, so that I will have room enough to organize my sewing and crafts. I have been working on getting fabrics cut into quilt pieces. I want to make 4 quilts this year. I have the first one almost done. I have 4 more cut out. I am using my TV time to cut out quilt pieces, because the cut pieces take up less room than yardage. I am making head way on this.
My other goal is to read down, and get rid of, my books. I think I can read a book a week. So far I have read 23 books.
The last goal is to get healthy. My body is tanking that goal.

This is all very positive except ‘what will I do when it’s all finished’ 😉 move? lol! And yes I’m sure we all thought you would take the aga with you it was spectacular.
Omg I love the welcome home, he’s a lucky guy and I’m sure he knows how dull life would be if you didn’t do crazy things. Love the party hat.
