Online Things
I had a VERY productive week with the dye pots and can now say I am at the 90% mark on as far as dyed wool goes for the year.
If I keep going at this pace, I should be finished by this time next week with that part. And I’m pretty excited about that part!
As far as patterns and kits go, I’m still around the 20-25% mark.
One of my goals this year is to create 4 new rug hooking patterns and right now I’m on rug #1 right now. I was hoping to be done with this rug at the end of February but decided to focus on dyeing wool instead.
I really only have about 2 hours left hooking wise, and then I’ll have to steam it and do the edges. As soon as that’s done, I’ll get started on giant rug #2.

Does painting 29 buoys and 2 giant shamrocks count as “house things”? I think so. 🙂

Marriage Things
It was an excellent week for walking on the beach! I didn’t find any lobster trap rope but I did pick up a few small heart shaped rocks and got some long walks in.
I can’t imagine ever not living near the coast. It’s so calming and feels so good to be out there on a sunny day during the winter months. I love it.
- Keep my husband busy
- Date days
- Walk more
Secret Projects
While I didn’t make any progress on my secret projects, I was able to talk to a friend about goal #1 and it was very helpful.
Intimidating, but helpful and as I suspected, it’s going to take ALL MY attention. Which means I can’t really get started on it until all the wool dyeing/pattern/kit making is done and off my plate.
But I am super excited to get started. In about another month or so.
How about YOU? Are you moving forward with YOUR goals for 2025?
Do tell.
