1. Get Organized.
The Girl and I are still working on the $100 office makeover. Everything that was in the office is now in the dinning room. Hopefully we will finish up this weekend. 😉
2. Run, walk or crawl a Marathon, half marathon, 10k, and 5k race this year.
The Sound to Narrows race is this weekend and an old neighbor of mine and I are signed up to race. Or rather walk. 😉 I have no intention of passing out so I’m aiming to just finish in 45 minutes or less. Ha! It will indeed be my slowest race ever but hey, I don’t want to go crazy on this one since I’ve been living off my emergency food supply this month and don’t have the energy to go for it like we usually do.
3. Remodel our Master Bathroom, Master Closet and Monkey Boy’s Bathroom. Done!
4. Finish Every Room in Our House.
This week I am staining Monkey Boy’s bathroom cabinet doors.
5. Turn Spare Bedroom into a Cozy Home Office Space for myself. Changed my mind. I’m turning the spare bedroom into a guest bedroom and stealing my husbands office space.
6. Create a Vegetable Garden. Done!
7. Build a Path into the Hillside for Easy Access to the Upper Garden. We built a fence instead.
8. Limit my personal spending to $100 a month.
June $1.00 – So far all I’ve bought this month for myself was a nightstand for $1.00 at a garage sale last weekend.
In May I spent $26.50.
In April I Spent $18.46.
In March I Spent $42.44.
In February I Spent $32.52
In January I Spent $84.33
9. Purge… Weekly. Find 10 things each week to donate to the thrift store.
Another week, another load of things to add to our garage sale pile. This time around I’m getting rid of kitchen trivets, a giant bathroom scale, party decorations, kitchen odds and ends and a Kitchen Aid Ice Cream Freezer Bowl. {It doesn’t fit the Artisian Mixer I bought last fall}.
10. Read 1 book a week.
This week, to torture myself I am re-reading The Perfect Scoop: Ice Creams, Sorbets, Granitas, and Sweet Accompaniments by David Lebovitz. It is hand down the best ice cream recipe book on the planet.
11. Slow Down.
Ehh. Not so much.
12. Canning
After our trip to the berry farm with our neighbors yesterday, I came home and made 12 jars of homemade raspberry jam. I can’t wait to dig into the stuff next month. 😉
Did you set any goals for this year? If so, how are they coming along?

I’m glad you explained yourself re: the ice cream maker! I used mine for the first time this week.
Have a good race!

One thing I’ve learned from following your Goals blog is how helpful it is to frequently re-visit your goals. I started doing this last year (for myself, not in a blog) and it really helped keep me on the right path. Thanks Mavis! 🙂
