I have nothing left to organize. I know, it’s weird.
2. Run, walk or crawl a Marathon, half marathon, 10k, and 5k race this year.
I’m seriously thinking about signing up for the Poulsbo Marathon just so I can get this puppy marked off my list. Just roll out of bed, throw on some shoes and don’t give up. That’s my motto. I did my first marathon with 90 days of training. The second one with 0 days training and I was only 30 minutes slower. Training is overrated. Unless of course you are going for time, and {and this is a big one} don’t enjoy laying around in bed for 3 days following the race because you’re muscles are super sore. I don’t mind hanging out in my pj’s and hobbling {because I’m a sicko}. Decisions, decisions.
3. Remodel our Master Bathroom, Master Closet and Monkey Boy’s Bathroom.
Done.
4. Finish Every Room in Our House.
I hung two things on the wall this week! {But forgot to take a picture}.
5. Turn Spare Bedroom into a Cozy Home Office Space for myself.
We gave the room to Lucy and I stole the HH’s office space. 🙂
6. Create a Vegetable Garden.
Are you still harvesting green beans? I’d say we have about 2 more weeks left of picking before I’ll pull the vines and add them to the compost heap.
7. Build a Path into the Hillside for Easy Access to the Upper Garden.
We built a fence and trellis instead.
8. Limit my personal spending to $100 a month.
I didn’t buy anything other than groceries this past week.
So far in September I’ve spent $8.12
In August I Spent $27.29
In July I spent $50.82
In June I spent $6.00.
In May I spent $26.50.
In April I Spent $18.46.
In March I Spent $42.44.
In February I Spent $32.52
In January I Spent $84.33
9. Purge… Weekly. Find 10 things each week to donate to the thrift store.
Mission accomplished. Not only was I able to donate a boatload of stuff to the thrift store, but I also made $473 at our yard sale selling my old stuff too.
I have a road trip planned so I picked up The Canterbury Sisters on audio book for the car. My neighbor recommended it. Have you read it?
When the kids were younger I would hook rugs while they were away at school. Then life got busy with sports, blogging and gardening like a maniac and I stopped. It’s been so nice lately to slow down a bit and get back to rug hooking again. I love working with all the rich colors and the texture of hand dyed wool passing through my hands. I plan on listing my latest batch on eBay later tonight.
No canning this week but I have been freezing tomato sauce made in the Crock Pot. Only 2 more quarts to go before I reach my goal of 24 quarts of homemade pasta sauce for this year. As long as the weather holds out and the tomatoes keep ripening, I will continue to make more sauce.

One of my goals was to try 52 new recipes like I did last year, and I just finished #49!

Yes, I did find a few that are going in the rotation. One is Mavis’s heirloom tomato sauce. Fabulous! I have about 30 quarts of it in the freezer.
