On the agenda for today:

- Donate old fixtures to the Habitat For Humanity ReStore
- Find a book to read at the library
- Stay off computer for the rest of the day
How about YOU? Do you have anything good planned for today? Do tell.

Plans for today, well entire weekend are as follows: today, stay dry as it’s still raining in NE Ohio and make freezer meals (including killer taco soup) while watching all alternate reality episodes from all Star Trek series (there is a dvd collection). Tomorrow, staying warm as the rain turns to snow, reading whatever my hands find while ingesting homemade loaded nachos. Yes, I have my Sunday munchies planned haha. Enjoy your weekend Mavis!

Ooooh…..is there a haircut reveal coming soon?!?
Sherry in Sumner says
Mavis, this photo of you is why your readers love you. Who else would post a picture of an in-progress beauty shop treatment, a picture of your muffy, and any other goofy ones you’ve shared? You’re the real deal!

I guess I need to get my vision checked – I thought she was wearing protective gear for the demolition about to happen!?!
tia in boise says

OK, I know you said this before, but I forgot what LUCY ,s breed is Pug & ? Can you please tell me again , also can you give general instructions of how you made your window coverings ? Thanks, Joyce
Mavis Butterfield says
A puggle is a puggle and a beagle. I used this video for the window coverings: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g3VW44HvdfM

She’s highlighting her hair. At home. She’s wearing one of those caps with the holes in them where you pull the hair thru the bleach. Then the clear cellophane cap on top that ties beneath your chin to hold the heat in while the bleach processes. I used to do this all the time at home myself. Took me a while to pull all the hair thru the little holes in the cap by myself—but that was before kids, mortgage etc…lol. I had oodles of time!! Her daughter probably helped pull her hair through the cap.

Woohooo New Hair reveal soon? You are such a doll so it will look wonderful I know, just love your photo above.
Go figure on the HH and his need for the supplies. Hope Home Depot is close by/ I am 1/2 mile from the Menards so when I remodeled before moving in here I LIVED there getting supplies.
So good to see you are donating the old items to Habitat ReStore. we do that here also.
Did you find a good book? I just finished Verity if you like wild complex roller coaster reads with some racy parts I would recommend it. Lots of heart pounding OMG moments. 😀
