I guess the proof will come next spring/summer, but I think you seem a lot happier in your new town. Y’all were working yourself to death!
Carrie says
No recycling center in the new town? That was the coolest place and I wish we had one!
Vicki in Birmingham says
Me too! I loved it.

I also need to make a similar list for the week. First I need to head to the grocery store, and I’m going to try out some new make-ahead breakfast recipes for the week. Laundry, bathrooms, and vacuuming are in there somewhere as well.
Also, I’m very impressed with your painting speed. I painted two floors of our house last summer, and it took me 3 weeks working all day every day!

Starting the day with our monthly Big Breakfast where the kids and grandkids come for pancakes, waffles, bacon eggs. (Easier to get them all together on Saturday morning than an evening!)
Then time to finish canning applesauce — only a few pints to go.
After that, a likely goat rodeo where I give vaccinations, trim feet and tidy up the pen. It’s cooling down here in Lynden WA. The goats are getting their winter coats in, and will probably start sleeping inside soon.
Good Saturday stuff!

Went shopping for things to finish sewing projects and they were out of paracord in black at Hobby Lobby. On the list to go to a different one next week. Finished all of the laundry from our trip to Ohio. Even got the souvenir fabric washed. (What?! Doesn’t everyone find a fabric store on their vacations?)
I will be sewing again by tomorrow, but today is a lay low day because we traveled all day yesterday. I made a sewing list last month that will hold me until next year!

– pick up my reading glasses in the city
– drop off things at Goodwill
– lunch date with the HH
– make a drop spot in the garage for firewood (not storage, just refills)
– caulking touch-ups
– be envious of your quick walks to the bakery – yum!
Sherrie says
Some of the kids and I cleaned behind and under the refrigerator & Hoosier cabinet! (It was a chore that definitely needed attending.) So glad to get that chore done and know that it’s clean!
Great pics from the coast line!
