Mavis Butterfield says
“eat the last slice of pie” best thing on the list!
Mel says
Technically it’s pandowdy instead of pie, but I’m still eating the last slice.

I like the foggy morning sunrise, what a beautiful view for you each day. I have a tea question since you are a tea drinking connoisseur. When you make your tea do you use a tea kettle or micro wave to heat up your water? Personally I just microwave my water. I want to buy stove top tea kettle for a family member because hers is warped on the bottom. I’ve read reviews on some and can’t decide because the one I was going to get some say it rusted or stuff flakes off after time on the inside. Thanks

We’ve used an electric kettle for years, and absolutely love it. Here’s a link to the one we use: https://amzn.to/2VeA5HO

Thank you
Idaho girl says
I love my stove top whistling tea kettle. I occasionally soak it with vinegar (on the inside) as hard water builds up.
Deb says
Big tea drinker here. Just add some lemon juice (big bottle available at Dollar Tree for a buck) to water in your full kettle and boil. When cool, empty your spotlessly clean tea kettle…no more hard water crud. I do this about every two weeks.
Gigi says
Also, if you use filtered water, it will keep the scaling away. There are also descaling mixes.

The island with the two trees looks like a huge bird flying by in the sky. A very artistic photo. Have fun this weekend. Oh, and have you found a place to put the leg lamp for Christmas? Love your blog. Look forward to it everyday.
Teri says
I was just going to say the same comment about the bird. The photo is awesome Mavis!

For a gourmet turkey soup put a scoop of stuffing in your soup bowl and heat it up. Add the hot soup. Amazing! Also add left over gravy to the soup while it is cooking.

Try EMU sheepskin boots they are an Ugg boot (type of boot before Ugg patented the name) we’ve had their slippers and shirt boots, excellent wear and good value. Have a great time on Sunday with lots of leftovers!
Julie P says
Short boots sorry!

Yankee Candle has their huge sale twice a year. You can get large jar candles for usually $10. The sale is immediately after Christmas and in June. This is both in store and on-line. Happy shopping!
