I’ve finished my Christmas shopping, but we scaled way back in the past couple years, so there are far fewer people to shop for.
I’m way behind on decorating though. I took down all the fall stuff but haven’t had a chance to pack it away yet, so I haven’t gotten the Christmas stuff out yet. We just got a tree yesterday, but it’s not decorated yet. I’ve also done a ton of baking for work (12 bags of Christmas candy and 17 pans of cinnamon rolls) but haven’t baked any Christmas cookies for us yet. I’m hoping to get all that squared away this weekend: cleaning, decorating, baking, and a few lightning rounds with the advent calendar should get us caught up!

Mavis Your day sounds delightful! I am taking a silk scarf painting workshop and out to lunch. Nice to get out of the cabin a bit now that all the snow in Michigan has melted. Happy shopping!
Debi says
Nancy, you must live down in the lower half of Michigan. We still have way over 2 feet in the Upper Peninsula.

Still coping (or not) with a really heavy cold, now in week four (I have asthma, so when I get a cold, I can be really out of sorts). Joy is me! I watched Band of Brothers when it was first shown on UK tv, excellent series. The book it’s based on, by Stephen Ambrose is also excellent.
