Garden like a maniac today!

My father is having surgery in April, so I’m spending the weekend making some freezer meals for him to have on hand for that. If I have time, I might work on one or two other projects.

Just wondering your ‘electrical adventure’ is coming along.
Teri says

Freezer meal stock up as I may be having surgery soon (this week being unstuffed cabbage soup and crockpot pork roast with veggies.) to add to the tomato sauce and soups already in freezer. Snowing and cold in NE Ohio so I’m gabbing a book, pulling out the snuggle blanket, hunkering down into my big chair with a warm cuppa and loosing myself in a book. Happy Saturday to all!

We cut down and removed a 15 ft juniper bush in our front yard this morning (planting a native rain garden in its place) and I am making cookies. The rest of the day is for relaxing and folding laundry while listening to an audio book.

Mavis,
Where’s Lucy? I was disappointed today when the blog opened up without a Saturday picture of Lucy! Hi Lucy! As others have mentioned, did everything work out with the electric?
Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

I’m starting seeds this weekend. Not much is blooming here – a few daffodils – but I live near a ski resort in Western Maryland. Just half an hour away in West Virginia everything is blooming! It’s snowing today, but I am still looking forward to planting. I’m feeling sorry for the poor robins and house finches too – They are having a cold weekend. Time to fill the feeders again!

Went to a National Quilt Speaker class. Feel more comfortable doing free motion quilting after it. Dinner is leftovers.
