My List:
1) cut out fabric for crib sheet, burp cloth and receiving blanket (making a baby gift)
2) take photos of finished items to list on Etsy (dish towels & swiffer pads)
3) laundry . . . always laundry . . .
4) iron clothes for church tomorrow
5) clean up some eggs to give away (chickens are laying 6 eggs a day!)
6) make bacon for the week
7) figure out something for dinner

make bacon for the week? you have me curious!

I cook it in the oven and store the cooked bacon in the fridge. We eat it cold or heat it up for 10-15 seconds in the microwave. I love not having to deal with bacon grease every time we want bacon!
PS: I wrote a blog on how I do this: https://mypracticalhome.blogspot.com/2020/12/bacon-want-to-make-bunch-of-bacon-but.html

My to do list today includes laundry and the massive chore of moving my 15 yo to his sister’s old room. The kid is a pack rat and has been in the same room for 12 yrs. Purging and organizing are the main goals!

I spent the whole day prepping and painting the last 3 nursery walls (I painted an accent wall last weekend, along with the bathroom). I ran out of paint, so I’ll need to get more tomorrow for a second coat, but then all I have to do is paint the trim next weekend. Then I can finally decorate and assemble furniture.
